Despite being ahead most of the way, the UConn Huskies were sweating the ending of their second-round matchup against 6-seed Syracuse. Nika Mühl fouled out in the fourth quarter, leading to a late Orange comeback in a game where the Huskies led by as much as 12.

With 1:13 left, Dyaisha Fair hit one of two free throws to cut the UConn lead down to three.
