After a solid 2022 season, special teams took a step back in 2023, resulting in the entire specialists room either exhausting eligibility, or entering the transfer portal. Arguably the team MVP, P George Caratan participated in Senior Day activities as well as Pro Day. K Noe Ruelas transferred to James Madison. LS Nilay Upadhyayula transferred to Pitt. K Joe McFadden has yet to find a landing spot in the portal.
