2025 Position Group Breakdown: QB

For the first time in a long time, UConn fans had reason to feel good about the passing game. Quarterbacks Joe Fagnano and Nick Evers combined for 2,549 yards—Fagnano with 1,631 and Evers with 918. Fagnano also posted an impressive 20:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio. It was the most passing yardage in a season since 2019, though that team only threw for 14 TDs. Both Fagnano and Evers return this season, and all signs point to Fagnano returning as the starter.
