2025 Position Group Breakdown: LB

Despite the veteran leadership in recent years on the defensive line, the linebackers have arguably been the stars of the defense. That was especially true in 2024, where transfer Jayden McDonald and program-developed Tui Faumuina-Brown had 125 and 91 tackles, respectively. They each move on, having exhausted their eligibility, and like the DL, there has been a question about the depth of the position.
