It wasn’t exactly a “no-fly zone,” but the UConn secondary was solid last season behind the strength of veteran leaders Rante Jones and Malik Dixon-Williams, plus the emergence of transfer Jordan Wright, and freshman Cam Chadwick. Gone are Jones, Dixon-Williams, and Wright, requiring the Huskies to lean on unproven talent at all the safety positions. Still, Chadwick returns, as well as his CB on the opposing side, D’Mon Brinson.
