
After the release of the Big East conference schedule, UConn men’s basketball’s 2025-2026 season schedule is set, including the location of home games split across Gampel Pavilion and the newly renamed PeoplesBank Arena (formerly XL Center)(formerly Hartford Civic Center).
The Huskies open Big East play against Butler in Hartford on December 16th before road dates at DePaul (Dec. 21st) and Xavier (Dec. 31st) during the holiday season. They’ll be back at home for their first Big East game in Storrs when they host Marquette on January 4th.
The schedule has Dan Hurley’s squad on the road early, heading to Providence on January 7th with a home game against DePaul on the 10th before two more road games at Seton Hall (Jan. 13th) and Georgetown (Jan. 17th).
The Huskies will have a big two-game stretch at home against regional rivals when they host Villanova on Saturday, January 24th, at PeoplesBank Arena, and Providence on the 27th in Gampel. Then they head to Omaha to visit Creighton on Saturday, the 31st, before a home date with Xavier in Hartford on Feb. 3rd.
On Friday, February 6th, UConn will have a marquee matchup against St. John’s at Madison Square Garden. The next week they’ll be at Butler before hosting Georgetown and another big game against Creighton on Wednesday, Feb. 18th in Gampel.
On Feb. 21st, the Huskies are at Villanova before hosting St. John’s on Wednesday the 25th in Hartford. They’ll end their home slate at Gampel Pavilion on February 28th against Seton Hall before the season finale at Marquette on March 7th.
