UConn football was hard to read through the first five games of the season, which saw tough overtime losses to decent Syracuse and Delaware teams before close wins over less-decent Ball State and Buffalo teams. The offense wrapped up the first half of the season with strong analytical ratings and some promise to build on after their last game.
Against FIU, the defense forced five turnovers to push the rout, and the Husky offense delivered in a way that offers new hope.
