UConn Football fans will see a new kind of excitement this season with “Catch for Cash & a Cause presented by Storrs Central.”
During the second half break at each remaining UConn home football game this season, one lucky fan will be chosen right at the game to take the field for a punt-return-style challenge. Three footballs will be launched high from a JUGS machine, and the fan must track, position, and catch as many as possible—just like a real returner.
Each clean catch boosts their winnings:
- 1 catch = $1,000
- 2 catches = $2,000
- 3 catches = $5,000 jackpot
All prize money is courtesy of Storrs Central, which will also match the fan’s total winnings with a donation to an Epilepsy Research Foundation. The initiative highlights Storrs Central’s commitment to giving back and supporting causes that matter to the UConn community!
