The college football regular season has come to a close, and now it’s time for bowl season...as well as the craziness that comes along with it like the coaching carousel, the transfer portal, and the CFP committee. Unfortunately for the Huskies, they’ll be participating in the carousel, as HC Jim Mora has departed for Colorado State. Numerous players have entered the transfer portal, and many class of 2026 recruits have decommitted or committed elsewhere.
However, there are plenty of Huskies still available and planning on playing in the bowl game, including the core offensive group of Joe Fagnano, Cam Edwards, and Skyler Bell. They’ll look to leave their mark on the program, attempting to win ten games for the first time as an FBS program, and first time since 1998.
Bowl matchups will be announced by ESPN on Sunday December 7th, but if you were around Storrs Central last year, you got the news of the Fenway Bowl bid a day before, so stay tuned for updates.
