UConn Shows Its Strength with Another Ranked Win

NEW YORK CITY — The game featured eight lead changes, and Florida briefly pulled ahead in the middle of the second half, but in many ways, the UConn Huskies were in complete control as they took down the No. 18 Florida Gators on Tuesday night.

Dan Hurley’s squad stayed ahead by a couple of baskets for the final seven minutes and kept its composure down the stretch to claim their fourth win over a ranked team.

“Gutty performance by us,” Hurley said afterwards.
