Showcase at the Rent Marks End of Spring Practice

UConn football brought back the spring game, kind of, with a showcase on Saturday in East Hartford. While the format was not like a game, it featured different segments such as red zone plays, 7-on-7, and special teams. They didn’t tackle, but it was close to live.

The free event, with thousands in attendance, offered fans their first look at Jason Candle’s rebuilt roster.

“That was one of 15, a small snapshot,” Candle told reporters afterward.
