Skyler Bell has been selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 25th pick in the 4th round of the 2026 NFL Draft. In Buffalo, he’ll join forces with one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen.
Bell was a Biletnikoff finalist as a senior at UConn, where he transferred after three years at Wisconsin, including a redshirt season. The Bronx native played his high school ball at Taft School in Connecticut, where he was a three-star recruit out of the Class of 2021.
At UConn, Bell caught 50 balls for 860 yards and 5 TDs in his first season as a Husky before a monster senior campaign. He hauled in 103 passes for 1,278 yards and 13 TDs, earning consensus All-American honors and putting himself on the pro radar. He was also invited to participate in the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine.
Bell maintained a third to fourth round projection throughout the draft process. He joins a Bills team looking for a playmaking pass-catcher since the departure of Stefon Diggs. They traded out of the first round to stockpile extra picks, including three in the fourth round, using the second one to take the Husky receiver.
The Bills went 12-5 last season, finishing second in the AFC East, and beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round before losing to the Denver Broncos. They had some injuries at receiver, but Khalil Shakir was their most productive pass-catcher, with 72 receptions for 719 yards. Thir tight end Dalton Kincaid was second.
Bell met with the Bills at the Combine and during the pre-draft process, as this position was a big need for a team looking to stay competitive under Allen and new head coach Joe Brady. The former LSU OC takes over after the firing of Sean McDermott. He was previously the Bills’ offensive coordinator for the last two seasons.
