Nobody can question Solo Ball’s toughness or dedication to UConn.

After suffering a wrist injury in December’s league opener against Butler, Ball played through a ligament injury on his shooting wrist. He hardly missed any time and, though he wasn’t at his best, still emerged as one of UConn’s top scorers and came up big in key moments.

He never revealed anything about the severity of his injury until after the national championship game, in locker room interviews.
