After receiving commitments from mainly skill players, UConn football got one to add to the big boys up front in Louisville, OH native Aden Norris. The 6’8” 315 pounds Norris was offered by UConn in early May, but had to be known to Candle and company, as seven of his first eight offers were from the MAC. Those all came before his junior season. Since then, he has received offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Pitt, Oklahoma State, and James Madison, in addition to UConn.
A three-star recruit per On3, Norris is scheduled to visit Pitt on June 18th. He has no other visits scheduled, despite telling 247Sports last July that Boston College was his top school.
Norris tells Storrs Central on his decision, “I chose UConn because of the relationships that I have built with the people here. It is like a family up here and that is something I love about it. The program is heading in the right direction with Coach Candle leading the way and I am so excited to be a part of it.”
