The Class of 2027 recruiting class for the Football Huskies has been heavy on the secondary, and that trend continued, as three star DB Preston Glasco committed to UConn. The Loganville, GA native is another big DB at 6’3” 192, and plays for powerhouse Grayson in Georgia. His size with his athleticism makes him a very intriguing prospect, and different from the profile of DB the Huskies have had.

Like many others who have committed to the Huskies, Glasco received a flurry of offers this spring. He holds offers from Army, Middle Tennessee, UNLV, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State, Boston College, Arkansas State, and Colorado State, plus several FCS programs. He was scheduled to take visits to Old Dominion and Middle Tennessee, in addition to UConn.

Glasco seems all business, and when asked for a comment by Storrs Central, he kept it short, but clear. “Coach Candle and his staff made it very clear that I was their guy.”
