For Cam Spencer and his family, basketball is a way of life

According to Spencer family lore, Patrick Spencer, the oldest of three brothers, set the tone for everyone with his first word: “ball.” Their father, Bruce, fostered this love of sports as he coached his sons’ teams until they were around 10 years old, embedding a fierce competitive spirit and tireless work ethic in them. 

Pat, Cam, and Will Spencer all played basketball and lacrosse at Boys Latin High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
