As the summer recruiting period winds down, UConn continued to add to its 2027 haul, adding OL Wilder Brasher. A potential all-name team selection, Brasher attends national powerhouse Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in Georgia, a program that routinely has some of the best prospects in the nation. In just the past few seasons, they've sent players to Michigan, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Cal. Now, add UConn to the list.

UCONN 2027 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST

The 6’5 275 lb OL certainly had his choice in suitors, receiving offers from UMass, Army, Navy, Toledo’s new staff, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, UCLA, and Kansas State. He was set to visit Toledo, Kansas State, and UCLA, but ultimately ended up visiting Storrs instead of Los Angeles (the choice anyone would make, frankly). Brasher earned first team All-Conference as a junior, helping jumpstart his recruiting. His brother, Eli, started 19 games over four seasons at FCS Furman as a tackle.

Brasher told Storrs Central, “You can tell the coaches care and they want to maximize your ability through good relationships and development.”
