UConn Football went down to Atlantic City and won big in landing DE Javon Lane. The 6’3” 230 lb Lane attends Atlantic City HS, where he helped his squad to a 10-2 record, falling to Kingsway in the New Jersey Group 5 quarterfinals.
UCONN 2027 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST
Lane held offers from Temple, Syracuse, Eastern Michigan, Bryant, and Maine in addition to UConn. He recently announced a top 3 schools of Temple, Syracuse, and the Huskies, officially visiting all three.
Lane joins a crowded Class of 2027 that now stands at 22 commits, including fellow DL commits Treighjan Gibson and Raph Bonfoh. Lane has the frame to add more size and stands to build on a successful 2025 season before heading to Storrs.
