Jason Candle was introduced as the new head football coach at UConn in early December, inheriting a unique situation for a new leader of the Husky program after consecutive nine-win campaigns over the last two years. For Jim Mora, Randy Edsall, and Bob Diaco, that was far from the case. Candle and his staff have reiterated a need to maintain that momentum, while benefiting from the resources and support offered by the school.
