Like head coach Dan Hurley, new UConn assistant coach Mike Pegues has basketball in his blood and has been obsessed with the game since he was little. He’s now tasked with replacing one of the most influential coaches in Hurley’s tenure and rebuilding a frontcourt of entirely new players this offseason after the program’s third national championship game appearance in four years.
