Nothing is normal in college sports today, with the recruiting landscape and playoff format seemingly changing every year. At UConn, consecutive nine-win seasons led to a new job for former Husky head coach Jim Mora, leading to the hiring of Jason Candle and the beginning of one of the largest reconstruction projects ever in college football.
This reconstruction project wasn’t the result of any program failures; quite the opposite.
