The UConn Huskies have secured a key addition from the 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of the versatile wing/guard Jordan Page. Page is a consensus 5* top-15 recruit in the 2027 class. He spent his first three high school seasons at Broughton High School in Raleigh before transferring to IMG Academy this season. He took an official visit to UConn September 18-20, and committed to the Huskies over North Carolina, Tennessee, Kansas, NC State, and South Carolina among others.
Page led Broughton to the CAP-8 conference tournament championship last season, averaging 19.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. He was named CAP-8 Player of the Year, District 5 Player of the Year, and First Team All-State by the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association. He also played for Garner Road on the Adidas 3SSB circuit, where he ranked among the league leaders in both scoring and rebounding.

Page was selected to represent Team USA at this summer's FIBA U17 World Cup in Istanbul, Türkiye. He started for the gold medal-winning American team and played alongside fellow 2027 UConn commit NaVorro Bowman Jr. The addition of Page gives UConn a second top-15 ranked recruit in the 2027 class. With Bowman and Page, UConn has added two talented ballhandlers, scorers, and defenders. For a program which asks its guards and wings to do a little bit of everything on and off the ball, Page gives the Huskies another player with both high upside and the ability to impact the game right away next season.
UConn had official visits from other 5* class of 2027 wings including DeMarcus Henry and Asa Montgomery, as well as a scheduled visit from Moussa Kamissoko that was previously cancelled, and an upcoming visit from Malachi Jordan next week. This commitment is expected to remove those players from consideration for the Huskies.
