How Mamadou Diarra leads UConn men’s basketball’s off-court programming

You may not know this about UConn head coach Dan Hurley, but he’s an avid reader. Assistant coach Tom Moore shared this nugget in a recent interview and Mamadou Diarra, the team’s Director of Player Development, has noted this as well. 

One of Hurley’s foundational philosophies, in addition to building rosters with unprecedented depth and limited egos, is an emphasis on enrichment outside of basketball.
