UConn Adds 2025 DL Out of MD

UConn added to their defensive line again, receiving a commitment from MD DL Aubrey Melvin. Hailing from Brandywine, MD, Melvin chose the Huskies over offers from Akron, BC, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, JMU, Kent State, Pitt, Temple, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, plus some FCS teams. He officially visited BC and West Virginia already, and was slated to visit Virginia Tech this upcoming weekend.

The staff is very high on Melvin. “I think he’s the best player we had up last weekend,” said one staffer. At Gwynn Park HS, he had 64 tackles, 30 solo, and 4 sacks.
