In college football, or really any level of organized football all the way up to the NFL, it can be hard to find a great quarterback. But every good team needs one.

As an FBS program, UConn got off to a tremendous start with in-state star Dan Orlovsky, who went on to be an NFL Draft pick in 2005 and play 12 years in the league. Since then, however, the program has been chasing that standard and falling well short.

The position has been a constant area of weakness for the Huskies.
