The UConn Huskies kick off their 2024 season on Saturday at the University of Maryland in a noon game that will be televised on FS1.
In this week’s preview episode, Graham and Aman discuss Nick Evers being named the starter at QB and the state of UConn’s NIL efforts before previewing the matchup with the Terrapins.
Like UConn, Maryland will have a new QB this year. But the Terps return a healthy chunk of their offensive playmakers and most key contributors on defense and are favored by around 20 points as they prepare to host UConn.
Still, the Huskies have a lot to prove. Even if they don’t win, a competitive showing would mean a lot against this power conference opponent. The podcast ends with a discussion of what we’re looking for out of Jim Mora’s squad in their first game of the season.
