There are plenty of caveats that can be said, but let’s get this out of the way first. UConn should have won this game. It was all right there for them, leading 21-17 going into the 4th quarter with plenty of momentum, but the ineffective offense that put them down 17-7 at the half came roaring back. Nick Evers had an uneven game. He made some good plays to get them the lead, but more importantly, he was unreliable for most of the game.
