Instant Analysis - Rice

This is an easy one, obviously the defense was incredible, albeit facing a backup QB for Rice, and the offense was bad. No two ways about it. The Nick Evers that threw for 264 yards last week against Wake Forest, and looked much more comfortable and confident in the 4th quarter, was nowhere to be found on this day. He had 8 yards passing in the first quarter, and after he made a good throw to TJ Sheffield, immediately threw a terrible interception on the very next play.
