Aubrey Griffin on her decision to return for one more year

When Aubrey Griffin arrived at UConn as a freshman, the program was in a much different place. The Huskies were still in the American Athletic Conference and news of their move to the Big East wouldn’t happen until after the team had begun summer workouts. Nobody knew what Covid was and injuries weren’t constantly front of mind.

Nearly five years have passed since Griffin stepped on campus – and she’s not going anywhere.
