Chris Dailey: A legend of UConn and the game of basketball

During the 2024-2025 season, UConn athletics will celebrate the 40-year tenure of Geno Auriemma and Chris Dailey in Storrs. As of Wednesday morning, the two are on the cusp of setting a record for wins under one coach, and a who’s who of WNBA stars, and UConn legends will be in Gampel Pavilion tonight for the festivities.

The wins record will sit in Geno’s name, but the whole world knows that Dailey had just as much to do with it.
