Two new pass-catchers headline 2025 recruiting

The UConn Huskies added two pass-catchers in their 11-person Class of 2025 recruiting. They added a Florida speedster in Makih Johnson as well as a strong, possession pass receiver in New York native Xavier Watson. 

Johnson, a 6’2, 185 lbs wideout from Tarpon Springs, Florida is currently coming off a senior season that saw him break into the open field and display his game-breaking speed. 

The three-star recruit finished with 51 receptions, 1,072 yards and 10 touchdowns.
