UConn's lack of killer instinct on full display in loss to Notre Dame

While the Huskies did enough to keep it close, the Fighting Irish came up with every momentum-swinging play.

Not much went right for UConn in a 79-68 loss at No. 8 Notre Dame on Thursday. Between a bad shooting night (3-12 from three), rebounding and turnover troubles, and once again letting Hannah Hidalgo take over with 29 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, the Huskies have a lot to work on when they return home. 

That can all be fixed. It’s never been a secret that this UConn team is a work in progress with so many new faces along with all the key pieces returning from injury.
