NEWARK – There’s no sugar-coating a game like the one on Saturday afternoon for UConn men’s basketball. The 69-68 overtime loss against a woeful Seton Hall team was as bad as it gets.

That it was even a loss was bad enough. How it happened was worse. The Huskies lacked the energy in the first half to beat up a sub-200 KenPom team and lacked the poise down the stretch to put them away.
