UConn women’s basketball ended its season with a bang, winning its Final Four game by 34 points before trouncing South Carolina by 23 in the national championship last week. On Sunday, they celebrated the program’s 12th title in downtown Hartford with tens of thousands of their biggest fans.
“There's just a tremendous amount of affection that our fans have for the players as individuals and our team,” head coach Geno Auriemma said after the parade.
