It didn’t start well, and it could have been put away more convincingly, but UConn men’s basketball overcame turnovers, injury, and off nights from multiple guys to notch a 19-point victory over Butler on Tuesday night.
“At times we screwed around with the game,” Dan Hurley said. “I can attribute some of that to Butler…a team with a lot of firepower [that’s] gonna get better as the year goes on.”
The Bulldogs got off to a 9-2 start.
