Andre Jackson Jr. vs Stephon Castle

In a 119-101 Spurs victory, Castle recorded his seventh double-double of the season after scoring 19 points on an efficient shooting night, 6-of-9 from the field, 1-of-2 from three and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line, while dishing out 10 assists. Castle’s most impressive basket came when he broke down Giannis Antetokounmpo off the dribble.

Andre Jackson Jr. scored a season-high seven points on 1-2 shooting from three and went an unblemished 4-4 from the free throw line in 10 minutes. All of Andre’s minutes came in the fourth quarter when the Spurs had the game in hand.

Donovan Clingan

Clingan was one point shy of a double-double after scoring nine points and pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds in the Blazers 117-101 victory against the Atlanta Hawks. DC has posted 10+ rebounds in five out eight games during the month of January thus far.

Cam Spencer

Spencer and the Grizzlies kicked off the “NBA Games in Europe” in Berlin, Germany yesterday in a matchup against the Orlando Magic. In Spencer’s ninth start of the season, the former Husky scored seven points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out a game-high 11 assists. Cam has a total of 35 assists over his last three games played (11.7 per game). Memphis took a 118-111 loss and will have a rematch against Orlando this upcoming Sunday in London, England to continue the “NBA Games in Europe” series.

Samson Johnson (G-League)

Johnson scored six points on 3-5 shooting while grabbing four rebounds in the Noblesville Boom (Indiana Pacers G-League affiliate) 102-92 loss to the Grand Rapids Gold (Denver Nuggets G-League affiliate).

Liam McNeeley (G-League)

Liam did not play in the Greensboro Swarm (Charlotte Hornets G-League affiliate) matchup against the Westchester Knicks (New York Knicks G-League affiliate) due to a toe injury. It is unclear the severity of the injury. In four regular season G-League games, Liam is averaging 21.5 points per game while shooting 46.4% from the field, 25.0% from three along with 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Tage Thompson

Thompson recorded his ninth career hat trick, including his 200th career goal as the red-hot Buffalo Sabres defeated the Montreal Canadiens 5-3. Thompson, who will play for Team USA in next month’s Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, is now tied for fifth in the NHL with 25 goals on the season.
