On Saturday, Creighton coach Jim Flanery sat courtside for UConn’s win over Georgetown to scout in preparation for a potential semifinal matchup. He didn’t like what he saw.
“I almost stopped watching because I was not enjoying how good they are,” he laughed about the Huskies after his team’s quarterfinal win over Marquette.
Flanery had a right to be worried. On Sunday, UConn ran over the Bluejays 100-51 in the Big East Tournament semifinals.
