UConn has officially closed the doors to Gampel Pavilion for this women’s basketball season and has made their way to Ft. Worth as the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Reaching the Sweet 16 has become something more than just expected for the Huskies, it is fully assumed at this point that they will be there. This season marks the 33rd Sweet 16 that UConn will participate in as they match up with North Carolina.
