Dan Hurley received a commemorative basketball for his 200th win as UConn head coach on Monday night. His players and staff applauded the achievement in the locker room after their 86-46 season-opening win.
Hurley’s response? He tossed it out.
“He was like, ‘I’m here for bigger stuff than this,’ and he just chucked it out the door,” Jayden Ross shared.
Win no. 200 doesn’t matter to him right now.
