Donovan Clingan brings rim protection and winning mentality to Portland

After a season in which he was one of the most dominant low-post defenders in college basketball and won his second championship in two years, it was only a matter of time before Donovan Clingan came off the board on draft night. He could have gone as high as No. 1 but two French players were picked before Kentucky’s Reed Sheppard became the first college player off the board at No. 3.
