Huskies display toughness and grit in Open Practice showing at Gampel

When UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley walked out on the Gampel Pavilion floor for the team’s open practice showing, he was utterly amazed at the sheer number of fans that traveled to Storrs to check out the newest iteration of Huskies.

“Blew my mind... We actually pushed back <the practice> a little bit and bought some time because the line was so long; we weren’t expecting this many people in here.
